Crafted in USA with CareModel DSS-1
The DSS-1 was born from the collaboration between Chris Ploof and Benoît Barbé.
Its body is made of American-made stainless Damascus steel forged in Chris’s workshop.
The design is inspired by the field watches of the past but with a modern more angular twist to maximize the visibility of the Damascus steel. The large textured dial is framed by a clean stainless bezel to contrast with the Damascus pattern. The numbers and hour markers are made of thick SuperLuminova for a clear time reading even in the dark. At 39.5mm in diameter, the case is made to fit most wrist. The lugs and strap position were engineer for comfort and everyday use.
